What do you do at Woodrow Mercer?
Throughout most of my time at Woodrow Mercer Tech, I have been tasked with resourcing for numerous account managers within the tech team. This involved recruiting for a variety of different positions throughout the tech, providing me with a wealth of knowledge about the industry. However, most recently I have had the privilege of running my own market in the QA/ testing space. My days are spent speaking to some of the best candidates within the market, to understand more about their roles and what they are looking for in order to match them to the most suitable position.
What are the core areas you recruit for?
Woodrow Mercer Tech is renowned for being one of the leading recruiters in the QA/ testing space. Our director, Matt Drinkwater, has been involved in QA recruitment since 2006 and has provided me with the knowledge required to immerse myself within the industry and get the best results for my candidates and clients. More recently, we have seen a massive influx in the need for testers and QA engineers within businesses which has resulted in a lot of testers being paid significantly more than developers and engineers in teams. Below are just some of the many positions I recruit for:
- Head of QA
- Test analyst / QA engineers
- SDET's / Automation QA engineers
- Test managers / QA manager

What do you enjoy about working for Woodrow Mercer Tech? What do you enjoy most about working in recruitment?
The thing I enjoy most about working at Woodrow Mercer Tech is the people. Having so many like-minded individuals with the same aspirations and goals around you is very motivating, as well as making it a fun place to spend much of my day.
What are your interests outside of work?
When I’m not at work, I spend a lot of my time going to the gym, playing football on a weekend with my friends, as well as being an avid fan of Tottenham Hotspur! Outside of sports, I also like going to music events, trying new food spots, and traveling to new places.
