The Strategic Planning and Performance Directorate provides data insights on a whole range of strategically important indicators to make informed decisions and is responsible for key student-related statutory returns and the data for national surveys.
This post within the recently established Strategic Transformation and Change Team, provides a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work on Anglia Ruskin’s Data Futures project.
Reporting to the Data Future Project Manager, you will work alongside members of the Data Futures Project Team, undertaking analysis of our processes, data and systems in order to meet HESA’s Data Futures requirements and anticipated student data quality improvements (right first time), and drive efficiencies. The role will involve working closely and collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders, calling on your excellent problem-solving capabilities and your strong people, influencing and communication skills, to determine the most appropriate and effective solutions to comply with Data Futures requirements and get the required commitment and buy-in from our key stakeholders.
With a relevant degree or professional qualification, you will have highly developed business analysis skills and experience in process reviews, analysis and redesign. You will need to have experience of working within a Higher Education environment and will be familiar with student-related data, HE statutory returns and student record systems. The successful applicant has the choice to be based in Chelmsford or Cambridge or work remotely with very occasional travel to one of our two main campuses.
